Ricardo Warfield: Over a Decade of Leadership



Ricardo Warfield understands the demands of a leader in a professional manner as well as in his personal life. For 12 years, he has held leadership positions that were equally important to his former employer. At one point, Ricardo Warfield's technical skills were so valuable that two companies employed his services at once.

Ricardo Warfield started his leadership role in business in 2000. Employed by Nortel Networks, his first position was in supply chain management as a project coordinator. Within a short period of time, he worked his way into leadership positions within the company. After obtaining a position as senior manager in 2004, Ricardo Warfield moved on to take three director positions.


Ricardo Warfield's first position as director at Nortel Networks was Director of Supply Chain Operations. He was further promoted to Director of Global Contract Management before his final position at the company as Director of Carrier Maintenance Services. Ricardo Warfield's years of work at Nortel Networks provided him years of experience in a director's position. The experience led him to be dually hired by another specialized technical company Ciena Corporation. He began his position of Senior Director of Global Services Portfolio Management in 2010. 

Ricardo Warfield is more than qualified to work in a management or leadership position. In 2009, he earned his Project Management Professional certificate from the Project Management Institute. The certificate earned by Ricardo Warfield demonstrated to his employers of his effective management skills. With the successful passing of the certificate exam, Ricardo Warfield could use his certificate as a tool to beat out competitors for employment. 

Ricardo Warfield has lots of practical leadership experience. He is well educated with a MBA from Georgia Tech and a Bachelor of Science in International Business from Strayer University. Ricardo Warfield's education and project management certificate directly contributed to his successful leadership role in business.
